Oregon Coast & Forest Photography

Oregon sits at a meteorological crossroads where Pacific storms collide with high desert, producing landscapes of striking contrast within a remarkably short distance of one another. The state's diversity spans from temperate rainforests to volcanic geology to wind-sculpted terrain. These photographs capture the iconic sea stacks and spouting horns of the rugged Pacific coastline, the impossibly blue depths of Crater Lake—the deepest in the US, and the Columbia River Gorge adorned in wildflowers. Oregon's moody coastal weather and dramatic seasonal shifts tempt me to return.
