Norway Landscape Photography

Norway's coastline—if straightened out—would stretch halfway around the world, a testament to the complexity of a landscape sculpted by millions of years of glacial activity. The fjords of western Norway, where sheer walls of rock rise thousands of feet from sea-level waters, are among the most dramatic landforms on the planet. These images capture the glassy reflections of Nærøyfjord at first light, to the warm glow of fishing villages with their distinctive red Rorbuer in the Arctic archipelago of Lofoten. Norway's combination of intimate fjord scenery and vast open wilderness makes it one of Europe's greatest landscape destinations.
